The intent of the riding holidays is to show to the rider the variety of our territory, rich in historical buildings and vigns ,olives trees and woods.The rider stay in a confortable countryhouse tasting superb Tuscany food and wine , riding well trained horses that during the year compete in military or dressage, in a perfect combination of relaxing and riding.
Program Sunday to Sunday: Sunday: afternoon transfer from Pisa airport to the riding centre . Arrival at the riding centre around 19.00 ,drink of welcome .h20.30 dinner (the price include the wine).
Monday: riding at 10.00 to the romanic abbey of Monastero d'ombrone. Lunch at the riding centre and then to Siena by car visiting the best well conserved medieval town in italy.
Tuesday :riding one day (5-6 hours) with pic-nic trought the Chianti farm of Arceno passing troght the breeding of Cinta Senese wild pigs ,vigns olives and the amazing cypres allée of Villa Arceno. The view from the pic-nic place is 360 °.
Wedsnay. riding in the morning at the medieval village of Montebenichi ,lunch at the riding centre and in the afternoon visiting and tasting the old farm of Chianti wine in Gaiole in Chianti , or at the SPA with two nice swimmingpool and possibility to have a massage.
Thursday and friday: 2 days riding with pic-nic at lunch .We ride in the Chianti area, stopping with the horses visiting cellars and tasting wine at Felsina, one of the best quality wine producer in Italy, the riding trought the "Crete senese" a complete different area famous for the sheeps and the sheep cheese, we arrive in the evening close to Siena where the horses and sometime even the riders stay for the night.
we spend all the friday trought the Chianti Classico area passing trought many wine farms untill the historical medieval castle of Brolio and then overtaking the Chianti mounts we come home tired but happy to have seen so many castles, villas, farms poderi,land out of traffic and crowd.
Saturday: Riding in the morning lunch at the riding centre; afternnon at the village of Csatelnuovo Berardenga even for some shopping or resting at the riding centre swimming in the river if is hot enought!!.
Sunday breakfast and transfer to Pisa airport.
